Hi, I am Craig, Co-head of KAFH (Kettering Amateur Fossil Hunters)and we run a club online, getting together for fossil hunts etc. We are looking at trying to raise some money to help fund the cost of providing safety equipment etc to the children that attend these hunts. Is there any rules and regulations for fundraising of this type also any ideas would be much appreciated. Thanks Craig

Hey, My son has started playing for a local football team who run off subs alone (2.50 per player per week), the club was started to get kids off the streets has there was nothing for them, unfortunately when it comes to the away games we rely on the parents to transport the children and this is becoming a problem, and cant fit all the payers in, hence some poor kids are being left behind or were forfeiting points as we cant get a team there, so im looking at ways to maybe fundraise for a mini bus so i imagine this is going to take a lot of doing, im new tot he area also so i dont know the other parents to get them onside, so im probably going to be doing this alone? Thanks guys

me and my friends are trying to raise money to adopt some animals from wwf. my fundraising ideas were:
Car wash, Cake sale, Talent competition, Garden sale, Car boot sale, Sponsored dance-athon, Sponsored silence, Sponsored walk, Collection jars, Raffle, Clothes sale, Quiz, Fancy dress party-costume competition, Bag packing.
was that any help? sorry its such a big list for you to read.

Since you have a big group, you can do lots of things like car washes, car boot sales and sporty things like charity runs, skydiving, etc. Have a look at this fundraising list for some more ideas. Good luck!

hello, im part of a cheerleading and dance team at coventry uni. we need to fundraise a lot of money this year to send us to various competitions across the country. im trying to think of lots of different ideas that could work. bag packing being one of them, can anyone think of something that is maybe different that could work?

Our football team do bag packs all the time, at Asda and Wilkinsons, dont have to have a charity or insurance. Just a few long waiting list and the store take a cut of all takings usually about 15%.

have done bag packing myself with local cricket club at Asda, Morrisons and 2 garden centres. Only requirement at one was copy of public indemnity insurance which as a sports club you should have

That surprises me. Our local supermarkets (Asda and Morrisons) both have sports clubs doing bag packing all the time. How odd!
