Charity Skydive

Fundraisers looking for an extreme way to raise money for a good cause will find that charity skydiving is as real as it gets. Acrophobes need not apply.

How to Organise a Charity Skydive

Take donations from your family, friends and colleagues, with a promise to jump out of a perfectly good airplane when you reach a certain amount. Skydiving companies may even let you jump for free in exchange for publicity or a portion of your fundraising profits. Remember to do your part and publicise your charity skydive event if you opt for this method.

If you’ve never done a skydive before, you’re required to perform a tandem jump with a qualified instructor. All skydiving companies offer this option, and it will also allow you to relax and enjoy your freefall.

Here are some more ideas to make your jump more interesting:

  • Group skydiving – The more the merrier, for you and your charity
  • Charity skydive abroad – You’ll be falling towards Earth, so you might as well enjoy the view in an exotic location
  • Film your jump and put it online
  • Dress up in a silly costume. We recommend Superman or Wonder Woman.

Whatever you do, make your charity skydive memorable!
